There's also a few oxidized notes from the sherry wine casks here too. Additionally, there's a malted milk balls note here which will have you thinking the whiskey is on the sweet side. However, the whiskey is only mildly sweet. The body is a medium-plus feeling in the mouth with flavors leaning towards more of towards dried fruits with a light taste of malted cookies mixed with barrel spices. It's chewy without it being dry. Further nosings brings forth some dried green herbs. Overall the finish is bittersweet with a moderate length.
