The way that the sweet notes transformed from rich, decadent desserts into a delicious candy-like sweet as the sip went on was super unique compared to pretty much every other whiskey I’ve tried, and the cinnamon spice was consistently present to balance the profile out. The nose is easily my favorite part of this, but the palate\/finish wasn’t too far behind, and despite only being 99 proof this feels like a much heavier pour.
